"I can't believe I used a public hospital instead of a private doctor," Azazel says sounding like a surfer, as he looks back over the second test results at the elevator table. He drops the weird voice, "I'm glad we're not related."
"Hm? Why, Dear?" Mystique questions as she exits another apartment room through a door.
Azazel looks over at Stargazer, whom is also seated at the table, then back at Mystique. He next returns to reading, acting like he expects her to figure it out. "I just... Noticed she seems twinned with Kurt."
"Yeah, but that could have been from being your kid. Like Kurt's wearing of red and black. Or, are you saying Kurt's twinned with you?" Stargazer doesn't expect Azazel to be guilty of attraction to his own son, but felt like asking anyways, to drive home her point.
Mystique smiles toothily from leaning over the table, seated. "You know what twinning is, Dear?"
"Well, yeah. Where I come from, everyone knows about MK-Ultra. But, I didn't expect that the CIA allowed the leads to know about it. Are you the leads?"
"Well, we're kind of young to be the godly basis, aren't we? I mean, Azazel, you're... What? A few thousand? And, the basis leads are ancient beyond ancient, they're multiple age cycles old. Right?"
"Just say you're guards, and be done with it."
The red devil answers with a light smile, "Of course, I'm a guard. Do you think his majesty gets this close to strange females with golden coins on their clothes?"
He, and his blue counterpart laugh almost inaudibly.
"Was I a guard's child?"
They smile toothily at her.
The red guard places his smartphone on the table, with it's kickstand in use.
A Taino-accented voice comes through the device, "You're still a guard's child. And, we expect all of you to get back to work."
"Is that really Azazel?"
"No. It's my superior guard."
The red devil places his right hand on Stargazer's left, "I'm Azazel, Dear. Do you believe in a one true? A one and only? Or, do you actually comprehend that there's billions of people on this planet, many of whom with the same astrology?"
"You're... Saying there's many Azazels?"
"Yes."
